“Faseeh”: An Outside Perspective

Three months ago, I started working at Faseeh Institute, and I received many questions from my students: “What makes Faseeh unique?”, “How is it different from other institutes?”, “Do you feel comfortable there?”, “What do you think of the curriculum and teaching strategies?”

I wanted to answer these questions after gaining firsthand experience. In the first months, I observed, adapted, and analyzed the environment, management, curriculum, and teaching strategies. Now, I can share my insights:

1. The Teacher Comes First

Faseeh prioritizes the teacher, believing that when educators feel comfortable and supported, they can give their best. No one can truly excel in a stressful or disconnected environment.

2. Continuous Communication

Ongoing communication is a core value at Faseeh. Teachers stay informed about each other’s work, creating a collaborative and dynamic educational setting—much like a buzzing beehive.

3. Thoughtful Teaching Strategies

Faseeh values precision and patience in learning. Students are not rushed to complete the curriculum but are guided through clear objectives, diverse contexts, and cultural elements to ensure deep understanding.

4. A High Level of Student Performance

I noticed a significant difference in Faseeh students’ engagement with texts, journalistic presentations, and advanced analysis. They have a strong linguistic foundation, structured learning, and cultural awareness, evident in their academic performance.

5. Teacher Development

Professional growth is integral at Faseeh, with dedicated time for training workshops, research, and discussions that enhance teaching skills.

A Rich Experience

Faseeh offers a rewarding journey for both students and teachers. Now that I am part of this family, I am eager to dive deeper and hope you, too, will join us!

Student Mizuki Shines in

the Arabic Story Project

Mizuki, a Japanese student at Faseeh for a year and a half, demonstrated remarkable excellence in the Arabic Story Project. She mastered vocabulary and linguistic techniques studied during the winter course. Driven by her passion for literature, she translated a Japanese story into Arabic with a smooth and captivating style reflecting her advanced skills.
Mizuki embarks on her advanced-level journey with creativity and dedication.
The story follows kind old Ichiro and his wife, who live peacefully with their loyal dog Kuroshiro—until their greedy neighbor disrupts their lives.
Through engaging narration, Mizuki explores themes of good versus evil, generosity versus greed, and kindness versus selfishness. She vividly portrays the magical winter landscape, immersing readers in the story’s enchanting atmosphere.

Faseeh’s Ramadan Iftar:

Honoring Family Contributions

In an atmosphere of warmth and love, Faseeh hosted this year’s Ramadan Iftar for the families of its employees, honoring the mother and father for their significant role in upbringing and giving. The gathering was an opportunity to strengthen family and community bonds, as the Faseeh team came together with their loved ones in moments filled with affection and gratitude. This Iftar is not just a social event, but a message of appreciation for everyone who has had an impact on our journey.

The start of the spring semester at Faseeh.

We successfully concluded the winter semester and have started the spring semester, which will run until May 29, ready for a new season of learning and interaction. We are excited to welcome a group of new students: Hasna and Iyana from Japan, Matthew from the UK, and Safa from Turkey, and we wish them an enjoyable and enriching experience with Faseeh. This semester, we offer Modern Arabic lessons for all levels, in addition to Classical Arabic lessons for intermediate level students, and courses in Jordanian colloquial Arabic. We also provide Arabic journalism classes, along with specialized courses in developing speaking skills, to offer our students a comprehensive language experience.
