Our Team

At Faseeh, we believe that the student is at the center of the educational process, and we firmly understand that this process won’t succeed without a proficient teacher. Therefore, we prioritize the preparation of skilled educators who possess teaching expertise, creativity, and the ability to innovate both inside and outside the classroom.

In pursuit of this goal, we’ve developed a comprehensive training program for any teacher looking to join us. The program includes theoretical aspects such as language acquisition theories, the specificity of teaching a second language, how to teach the four language skills and classroom management. Additionally, there’s practical and hands-on within-the-classroom training for three months before the teacher embarks on their teaching journey.

Our trainers are qualified and equipped to provide you with an exciting, fruitful, and effective educational experience. The training process is ongoing at Faseeh; we regularly conduct workshops and internal courses based on the needs of our teachers and the evolving landscape of this field. Moreover, we support our teachers in attending external courses to acquire high qualifications in areas where they excel.

In our team, educators hold doctorates in Islamic studies, Arabic grammar, and ACTFL oral proficiency testing certification

SAJEDA SALEM ABUSAIF

FOUNDER

I’m Sajeda Abu Saif, PhD in Islamic Studies and founder of Faseeh. I created curricula in “Faseeh” based on tasks and communication, to help learners of the Arabic language study Arabic in interesting, useful, new and appropriate ways for real life.

I am here to train you to communicate with the Arab World and to make Arabic a means (not a goal) through which you achieve your own goals.

I think that my practice of diverse pursuits has helped me develop myself and thus developed my teaching ability. For example, I play the piano, have practiced taekwondo for more than 10 years, and love drawing, theater and reading books. I also participated in the Prince Hassan Award for Youth where I volunteered with children, orphans and widows. I participated in scouting camps where we climbed the mountains, walked at night and held tanning parties in the midst of the beautiful desert! Little things and subtle details can produce a lot in our lives, and I think the little details of “FASEEH” are what make it work.

I am Asma Hammad, I have a PhD in Arabic Languge. I love Arabic both teaching and designing its curriculums. I enjoy reading, particularly poetry and fiction. In my spare time, I am keen on practicing meditation. I also try to learn new skills through online classes. I very much enjoy long walks; for me it can wipe away the day’s stress ,fill me with enthusiasm and energy. My goal is to give the best lessons to my students in an enjoyable way of teaching and working with Fasih’s Team to create a unique learning experience for you

ENAS AL-RAYES

TEACHER

My name is Enas Al-Rayes. I have a bachelor’s degree in foreign languages (English & French). I like reading, watching movies, and listening to podcasts and music.

I’ve always been passionate about languages and cultures beyond them, believing that learning new languages enhances brain functions and creativity, moreover expands visions to see the world from a new perspective; that opened my eyes to new horizons and gave me the motivation to not only learn foreign languages but to teach my own as well.

Throughout my career, I discovered that teaching Arabic is a learning journey for me as a person and a teacher. Being part of the “Faseeh” team I’m proud to accompany you on this journey to make it more enjoyable and valuable.

I am Bushra. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and Literature from the University of Jordan. I love walking, volunteering, going out with my friends, watching movies and series, and photography. I am always keen to try new things like tasting different cuisines, visiting unfamiliar places and getting to know other cultures. During my university years, I formed a large network of foreign and Arab friends and colleagues, whose different cultures I became acquainted with. In return, I was their guide for learning about Jordanian culture, the Arabic language, and its ancient and modern poetry. Various people would look to me for a convincing answer to their questions about the language, and I was in constant contact with them regarding this – even after COVID-19 restrictions separated us. It was during the pandemic that I truly realized my passion for sharing my language, dialect, and culture with others. Therefore, my ambition was to maintain constant contact with other cultures in an educational sense; I was able to achieve this through my work in the field of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers. Joining the Faseeh team was a major turning point in my career as this Center transformed me from someone who simply wished to share their language and culture with others, to a person qualified to do so with perfection, dedication, and love. Thank you, Faseeh, for being such an integral part of who I am.

TASNEEM ASHOUR

TEACHER

I am Tasneem, and I hold a BA in Arabic Language and Literature (Balqa Applied University). My biggest joys are watching movies, coordinating clothes and colors, and enjoying various foods. I also love trying new things – from traveling to unfamiliar places, to meeting new people, to experiencing different cultures. In my spare time, I like to learn and develop my skills. I am very passionate about learning languages because I find the process of language acquisition fun, while languages are undoubtedly useful and have the potential to increase our opportunities in the world. After my university studies, I discovered that Arabic instruction is a challenge for both the teacher and the student, but when the class is interactive and fun, the process becomes much easier. As part of the Faseeh team, I realized that the secret to language instruction is simplicity and attention to quality. This is exactly what distinguishes Faseeh, and I am extremely proud of that!
